Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (Terms) govern your access to and use of the try-angle website at try-angle.app and the try-angle Chrome extension (together, the Service). The Service is operated by the team behind try-angle ("we", "us"). The full legal identity of the operator is available on request to hello@try-angle.app.
By signing up, installing the extension, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. What try-angle does
try-angle lets you generate AI try-on images by combining a reference photo of yourself with a clothing image you find on the web. Generation happens via the Google Gemini API. We are not affiliated with Google.
2. Your account
You must be at least 16 years old to use try-angle. You're responsible for keeping your account credentials and try-angle token secure. Any activity under your account is your responsibility.
3. Plans, billing, and cancellation
Free trial. New accounts receive 5 free try-on generations, available for the lifetime of the account. There is no recurring free quota.
Paid plan.$12 per month gives you 100 try-on generations per billing period (one calendar month from the date of subscription). The cap is hard — once you reach 100, generations are blocked until the next period begins. There are no overage charges.
Renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically each month at the then-current price until you cancel.
Cancellation. You can cancel any time from your account dashboard. You retain access until the end of the current billing period.
Refunds.Because the Service is digital and generations are consumed immediately, we do not offer refunds for partial months. If you believe you've been charged incorrectly, email hello@try-angle.appand we'll review.
Price changes.We may change pricing for future billing periods. We'll give you at least 14 days' notice by email before any price change affects you.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use try-angle to:
- Generate images depicting real people without their consent
- Generate sexual content involving minors, non-consensual imagery, or any unlawful material
- Generate content intended to harass, defame, defraud, or impersonate someone
- Circumvent or attempt to circumvent quota limits, billing, or authentication
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or resell the Service
- Use the Service in violation of any applicable law
We may suspend or terminate any account that violates this section, without refund.
5. Your content and the generated images
Your reference photo.You retain all rights to the reference photo you upload. We don't claim ownership of it. We store it in encrypted private object storage scoped to your account so that you can generate try-ons across devices; see our privacy policy for details.
Garment images. When you right-click a garment image on the web, you should make sure you have the right to use it for personal try-on purposes. We pass the image through our service to the Gemini API in order to generate the result; we do not republish it.
Generated images.As between you and us, you own the results we generate for you. You may use them for personal purposes. Commercial use is at your own risk — AI-generated content may not be copyrightable in all jurisdictions, and we make no warranty that any output is free from third-party rights claims.
6. AI accuracy disclaimer
try-angle generates images using an AI model. The results are approximations. They will not perfectly match the colour, fit, material, fabric drape, sizing, or texture of the real garment in person. They may also be inaccurate, unflattering, or unsuitable for any particular purpose. The Service is provided as is, without warranty of any kind, including any implied warranties of fitness for a particular purpose.
You are responsible for any purchasing or other decisions you make based on a generated try-on. We are not liable for those decisions, including but not limited to dissatisfaction with how a purchased garment looks, fits, or feels compared to the AI-generated preview.
No refunds for fidelity issues. We do not refund your try-angle subscription on the basis that a generated try-on differed from the physical garment, the garment looked different in real light, or you returned a purchase after relying on a try-on. The try-angle subscription pays for access to the generation service, not for any specific level of visual accuracy.
7. Service availability
We aim for high uptime but do not guarantee it. The Service may be unavailable due to maintenance, third-party outages, or other causes. We're not liable for losses caused by service interruptions.
8. Intellectual property
The try-angle name, logo, and the website/extension code are owned by us. You may not copy or reproduce these without permission, except as needed to use the Service normally.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited (such as for gross negligence or fraud).
10. Termination
You can terminate at any time by cancelling your subscription and deleting your account. We can terminate or suspend your access for breach of these Terms, or for any reason with reasonable notice. On termination, your right to use the Service ends.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced by email and by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use after notice constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute that cannot be resolved by direct discussion will be brought in the courts of England and Wales.
